Duc work parties
Up to Tech Help
Winter is here or at least the rain is.
Me and Tonupyank are planning some Duc work parties so if anybody wants to get involved let us know.
So far these are on the agenda.
Superbike swingarm swap
748 engine teardown/inspection (failed belt
)
Flywheel install
Valve check practice on 748 motor
Wiring custom brakelights
No dates set yet but probably do one after Tday and before Xmas and then one/month after the new year.

Also, I've got a rear shock replacement and ride height adjustment job I want to do on my bike. Just waiting to send the shock down to Lindemann Engineering for rebuild.
I might be up for one of those... I want to swap out the rear ride height link for an adjustable one I snagged from Dave R off of a S4R. Anyone know if there are any special considerations for painting the spring on the rear shock? I want to get rid of that yellow...
I've sent my S4 shock down to Lindemann this week, so it should be coming back. I think I might try to order an adjustable ride height stick from Desmotimes, unless Dave R has another one down there.....
Painting the spring?? Seems like you would have to rough up the coating then rattle can it. But what do I know, I would be concerned about the paint flaking and cracking. You could always order a new spring......but a 1.99 rattle can and a 100 dollar spring.......
