This was such a tragedy. I can't begin to imagine what she must be going through. One of my co-workers lost her 18-yr-old son over the weekend in what sounds like the same situation. He had just gone to San Francisco to start college. In talking to a physician friend, he told me that the 18-yr-old's pediatrician told him that there have been an increasing number of deaths under these circumstances and they don't know what's causing it yet.

My heart goes out to both of these families.
