Well it used to be monster list now i think its called ducatimonster.org. I am interested in what people think about its changes so post what you think.
The DML died a rather unglorious and unneeded death in my personal opinion. Met some great people through it over the years. Unfortunately I'm history on that site (as well as all other VS sites). I'm tired of them blocking my IP and all the other games that were played after acquisition. Tired of them "moderating" text of posts. And the bazillion flashing logos / banners -- it makes me sick. I would really hate to be an advertiser with them also -- who is going to identify and click-thru your ad when you have so many flashing all over the place that aren't related to Ducatista? (I saw a Home & Garden ad flashing there yesterday)
Oh well -- the good websites always meet an end once the owners tire or get burned out. Years ago it was the Ducati Index. Many other have come and gone since. The DML is just going to be another one to add to that also.
I hope we never go down that route. I know we are small and that there are things that would be improvements but as long as i am involved, over moderation and nasty over bearing ads wont be here. I am always willing to hear new ideas and thoughts on how we can improve.
