Up to Superbikes
1098 pics and info is out. Anyone going to buy it?
My take on the bike is a more modern bigbore version of the classic 916 with pieces stolen from Agusta (tail & swingarm). Not groundbreaking or overwhelming but should be a good maybe great bike.
Entry price means 999s will depreciate fast and some classic sbks will depreciate. If anyone has an interest in a older Duc sbk, your time maybe at hand to snatch one up in the next year or two.

I think Ducati has lost any future SBK $$$ from my pocket. What a sad state of affairs when Italians have to sell Japanese styling. I don't the mechanicals would be enough for me to excuse the questionable aesthetics. I'll have to wait to see it in person, of course I am one of the few who actully prefer the vertical headlights.
I can't wait to pick up a 749 here in the next year.

I have to say i am not sure i like it the front really looks like a rice rocket. Not that i was a huge fan of the last superbike model either. Still on the fence about the looks.
