Why does it seem only the Ducatisti are having an issue with this? The similarities between the brands are should be obvious. I think the merger would be a positive thing for both companies. I have both in the garage and feel that both are the best examples of their respective types out there. If HD can better market Duc, and Duc can improve HD performance, what's to loose?
I dont like it at all becuase Harley attitude would then become the ducati attitude and no thanks i would end up moving on down the road if that happened. The last thing we need is more squids out there on ducs

Uhhhhhhh...... Apparently you don't know the Harley crowd very well at all. The predominant attitude I am seeing is elitism from the Duc side of the house. Yes, HD riders tend to look down their noses at other brands, but responses like I'm seeing from the Ducatisti is just sad. If there is a reason I'm not aware of for the "us and them" attitude, please educate me.
Also, squids on Ducs???? WTF????? Are there really a bunch of squidly Harley riders that are going to invade the precious Duc flock?
